My Beautiful Nephews Birthday.

My little nephews birthday and mine. In the holidays my mum and my dad and I went to Auckland for my little nephew first birthday, it was also mine. When we arrived we stayed at my sisters house for a couple days. We had to do a lot of work for my nephews birthday. My sister spent LOTS of money for his birthday, we had a good time. On the 9th of July we woke up early so we could open his presents, we didn’t do much we had pancakes for breakfast but we made lots of crispy bacon, it was so yum. But on the 11th was his birthday party we went to the zoo for his party he really enjoyed the animals, we had a lot of food to. There was mini hot dogs and mini burgers and sausage rolls there was way more food then that. But I had a cool time.

Time

This term we have being learning about time. I learnt a lot about time 

like there are 52 weeks in a year and 365 days in one year. We were put into groups. We had to work together to solve problems about 

time.

cross country

Last Friday Paihia School went to Bledisloe Domain for cross country.

I raced the year 6 kids I had so much fun but I was super puffed out after the race. I went and bought a sausage sizzle.

I came 5th place. We practiced at Paihia school the boys went first and the girls went second. I was nervous at the start but when I was running I wasn't nervous.

Today we had an author come and visit our school. She came and talked to us about how to edit work properly.  She is super inspired with writing books. Two of her books have won prizes
